Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 2010

The SLK 55 was first introduced in 2005 and was updated for the 2010 model year and beyond. The car's 5.5L V8 is unchanged with an output of 355 horsepower at 5750 rpm and 376 pound-feet of torque at 4000rpm.

The SLK 55 AMG is a high-performance variant of the successful SLK-Class roadster from Mercedes-Benz. As with all AMG models, the SLK 55 sports wider fenders, a lower stance, quad tailpipes, enlarged air intakes, and, of course, a more powerful engine.

Mercedes History

Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz, started Mercedes Benz during the 1880s. It was them who came up with vehicle powered by internal combustion engine. An interesting fact about these two originators is that they had no idea about each other. Their work was closely related, and they both lived in Southwest Germany, but they didn’t know each other. Daimler and Benz never met at all. They worked separately, Daimler concentrating on his successful racing cars at Unterturkheim. Because Daimler’s cars were so successful, a dealer from Austria named Emil Jellinek got the cars into races and won more often than not. The cars were named after Mercedes – his daughter.Jellinek, because he was very impressed with the cars, made a large order from Daimler and his business partner and friend Wilhelm Maybach. It was agreed that Jellinek could modify some of the designs, and that he could name the car Mercedes. Because of his great faith in the cars, a large portion of what he had went towards investing on the company.

Everything about Mercedes-Benz is high-end, and no other car company can compare to all that Mercedes-Benz has accomplished, if you look at all the luxury cars, trucks, vans, buses, and its part in the motor car world.
Now, the company is known among the world’s top manufacturers, when talking about cars.

MW M Power models have always been about so much more than straight-line speed, so to make the 2010 X6 M a well-rounded car with enough capabilities in the twisties to justify its lineage was part of the deal. The torque distribution and suspension systems that debuted on the X6 did not need a whole lot of modification to be up to the M challenge, but early drive reports should confirm that BMW has really gone the extra mile here.

BMW X6 have a spectacular and sporty style interior which make this car looks like a luxury treat.
